Due to increased work demands, we are looking for an experienced part time Payroll Coordinator to join the payroll team for 6 months where you will be supporting the Payroll Specialist with weekly payroll and associated payroll administration. This role is office based Monday - Wednesday 9am - 5pm.
Main Responsibilities for the Payroll Coordinator
Weekly Payroll - smooth running of the weekly payroll for 250+ weekly paid employees across two sites, ensuring accurate payroll transactions for all
Provide cover on the monthly payroll process in the absence of the Payroll Specialist
Updating and extracting data from the time and attendance system
Creation of BACS payment file
Upload payslips/P60/historical payslips to online payroll service
Process SSP, SMP, SPP, Court Order payments, pension payments, cycle to work and student loans or any other such relevant payments
Ensure employee information including payroll numbers and personal email addresses are up to date
