Payroll Administrator Permanent full time office based role Monday - Friday (Apply online only) Lewes Salary £28000-£30000 depending on experience levels plus Free parking available near to offices and also to close public transport links We are delighted to be assisting our busy, friendly and successful client as they seek to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their organisation. Excellent opportunity to join a very professional yet friendly organisation as they continue to grow their teams due to expansion and company growth Duties Include: Processing payrolls accurately and efficiently Check accuracy of calculations before sending to HMRC Assist with any queries regarding payrolls via phone or email Download tax notifications from HMRC website and process RTI submissions to HMRC Import and export excel files into and out of payroll Creating payroll journals and ad-hoc reports Create a variety of pension auto-enrolment files for onward submission to pension providers Any other ad-hoc admin work include filing Competencies / Experience required: To be considered for the role of Payroll Administrator, you must have demonstrable experience working in a payroll role. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential: A knowledge of using Star (Payroll Professional) payroll software is useful but is not essential Have good knowledge of excel for creating spreadsheets and importing data in and out of payroll software Must have a good understanding of statutory payments and deductions including maternity pay/statutory sick pay/paternity pay/student loans/attachments of earnings etc. Have good communication skills and a polite telephone manner Must be methodical, diligent and be a good team player This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good experience with payroll to join a great organisation. This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $35,549 to a maximum of $38,088. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £28,000 to a maximum of £30,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $54,731 to a maximum of $58,640.
