Accounts and Audit Manager, Guildford – WFH, Hybrid working. £60,000 to £75,000 plus extensive benefit package.
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ACA or ACCA Qualified Manager to join an independent and growing firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors. With no glass ceiling for the successful candidate, the firm has an opportunity which can offer huge scope for career development to Director level.
The Role
Working in an inclusive environment and in partnership with the Partners of the firm, you will provide a client focused service to a range of companies including some in the not-for-profit sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of clients
Planning audit assignments through to completion
Extensive client contact to include developing business through existing and new client relationships
Attending networking events including developing relationships with local Law firms and other relevant businesses
Preparation and review of more complex financial statements.
Supervising and supporting qualified and active studiers
About You:
You will develop close business relationships with clients as well as internally with the Partners and staff within the firm and across other sites.
As an ACA or ACCA Qualified or the equivalent you will have a number of relevant years of post qualification experience.
Within a Practice environment you will have worked in a managerial role and if you are currently looking to return to Practice after a career break or perhaps you are looking to move away from Industry and back to Practice you will be keen to get back up to speed quickly and take part in a number of CPD refresher courses.
As a leader you will be critical in the successful development and supervision of the existing team as well as recruiting new team members as the business continues it’s growth strategy.
You will be conversant with UK GAAP, IFRS102 and be up-to-date with all technological advances and Audit regulations ( update training can be provided for Audit)

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $76,177 to a maximum of $95,221. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £60,000 to a maximum of £75,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $117,281 to a maximum of $146,601.
