Job Description
An established and reputable London insurance broking company and independent financial advisers are looking to hire an experienced Account Handler.
Duties include:
* Broking and arranging a wide range of policy types to meet client needs with a 'never say no’ approach.
* Handling premiums ranging from £600 - £30K being the bulk of the business. The highest premium handled is £400K being a single account.
* Placement of new business both from internal referrals and client recommendations
* Building and maintaining client relationships by providing added value at each opportunity
* Dealing with a wide range of clients, including Solicitors, Fund Managers, Food/Drink Manufacturers and Start Ups (particularly in the Tech sector)
* Production of documentation for clients
* Preparing for and attending client review meetings
* Claims handling from notification to settlement on a wide variety of matters.
* Leading the brokerage in placing Cyber cover for our clients
* Managing a book of business worth roughly £1.3m GWP
* knowledge of a broad range of insurance policies, including Casualty, Property and Financial lines
* Maintaining and renewing a book of business worth roughly £200k in commission annually, with a 95%+ retention rate
* Placing new business worth

Salary by Currency
This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $57,133 to a maximum of $69,829. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £45,000 to a maximum of £55,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $87,961 to a maximum of $107,508.
