Job Description

An established and reputable London insurance broking company and independent financial advisers are looking to hire an experienced Account Handler. Duties include: * Broking and arranging a wide range of policy types to meet client needs with a 'never say no’ approach. * Handling premiums ranging from £600 - £30K being the bulk of the business. The highest premium handled is £400K being a single account. * Placement of new business both from internal referrals and client recommendations * Building and maintaining client relationships by providing added value at each opportunity * Dealing with a wide range of clients, including Solicitors, Fund Managers, Food/Drink Manufacturers and Start Ups (particularly in the Tech sector) * Production of documentation for clients * Preparing for and attending client review meetings * Claims handling from notification to settlement on a wide variety of matters. * Leading the brokerage in placing Cyber cover for our clients * Managing a book of business worth roughly £1.3m GWP * knowledge of a broad range of insurance policies, including Casualty, Property and Financial lines * Maintaining and renewing a book of business worth roughly £200k in commission annually, with a 95%+ retention rate * Placing new business worth * Experience of Acturis is desirable In order to view more information on this job press the APPLY NOW button below and it will take you to the source website

Salary by Currency

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $57,133 to a maximum of $69,829. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £45,000 to a maximum of £55,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $87,961 to a maximum of $107,508.
