Permanent Experience: Qualified Accountant Role: Finance Manager

Job Description

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a Harrogate based organisation who have demonstrated impressive growth over the last few years and continue to do so. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified Accountant with a strong FBP / commercial background looking for the next step in their career. There is a clear progression path with this role to become Head of Finance within 12-18 months. As the Finance Business Partner, you will be required to build strong and effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, as well as supporting business units in delivering financial performance. Working closely with the senior management team, your responsibilities will include:- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting process Variance analysis Internal reporting Taking ownership of the capex process within the business unit Managing the balance sheet and P&L Supporting and challenging the business unit MD and Operations Director with key strategic decisions Presenting key information and financials to stakeholders Identifying and driving improvements and efficiencies in existing finance processes Providing support with the year end audit process and liaise with the external auditors Requirements Fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills Finance business partnering experience preferably in a fast paced environment Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing deadlines Excellent communication and presentation skills For further details please contact Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan. This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $67,804 to a maximum of $67,804. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £55,000 to a maximum of £55,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $105,342 to a maximum of $105,342.
