Job Description

Semi Senior practice manager in a full service, mid sized firm of Chartered Accountants based in West London. Overall, the firm has 70 members of staff across 3 different offices in Aylesbury, Ealing, and Pitstone. They are looking for a semi senior/senior accountant to join their growing team. This particular role is based in Pitstone Last year the firm turned over £6.5million, and is growing rapidly, as in 2022 they turned over £1.5million, showing just how much of a growing, and ambitious practice this is. The ideal candidate would be part qualified, or newly qualified, and be an ambitious individual, who is open, and eager for progression Senior/semi senior accountant Position Overview Client Engagement: Assist in managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial services. Interact with clients to gather necessary financial information, address inquiries, and provide proactive advice. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards. Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to assist clients in decision-making. Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing guidance to clients on tax planning strategies. Bookkeeping and Reconciliation: Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records through regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the practice. Implement best practices and workflows to streamline operations and enhance client service delivery. Salary by Currency

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $44,307 to a maximum of $56,966. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £35,000 to a maximum of £45,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $67,422 to a maximum of $86,685.
