Accounts Assistant Manager (Accounting) Full Time - Nottingham £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications Are you ACA/ACCA qualified with proven practice experience (QBE will be considered) and looking for a new opportunity within the Nottingham area? Our client, a top 15 accountancy firm who specialise in owner managed business across the UK are seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to assist the Managers and Directors with reviewing and finalising accounts preparations, management accounts and VAT returns as well as providing training and support to junior members of the team. The successful candidate will need to have a sufficient level of practice experience and looking to progress towards the next stage of your career. Duties Include * Review an accounts working file and associated tax computations * Produce an accounts summary and a list of discussion points for the manager or partner * Work within a budget agreed at the planning stage * Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts * Inclusion of statutory disclosures in line with the company checklist * You will be expected to professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals * You will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification * You will be expected to supervise and help develop more junior members of staff * Communicating clearly with clients on key topics affecting them as well as future legislative changes and the impact this may have on their business * You will be expected to contact clients in connection with non-technical issues such as the collection of debtors and be involved on an ongoing basis in administrative activities such as billing * You will be expected to plan and control your professional work for the firm’s clients within the firm’s standard procedures. This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $37,977 to a maximum of $50,636. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £30,000 to a maximum of £40,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $57,790 to a maximum of $77,053.
