Job Description

Our client, a trustworthy haulage and warehousing company, that offer a professional reliable and personal service to customers, are looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk, to be based at the company’s head office in Colnbrook, Berkshire. Main Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Account / Finance Manager. Assisting within various accounting / finance tasks, including financial record- keeping, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable and payroll administration. On Offer: * The opportunity to join an industry leading transport and warehousing solutions provider with great potential for future growth * Excellent working conditions and remuneration packages * Monday to Friday Shift Pattern 9am – 5pm. * An attractive salary on offer of around £25,000 - £27,000, dependent on skills and experience. Duties and Responsibilities: * Support the Accounts / Finance Manager and team * Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense reports * Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner. * Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting records accurately * Assist with payroll administration, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and preparing payroll reports. * Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions * Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. * Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters * Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed. To Be Considered: * Proficiency in accounting software * Strong knowledge of MS Excel for data entry and analysis * Familiarity with payroll processing systems and procedures * Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices * Ability to interpret and analyze financial data accurately. * Knowledge of relevant tax regulations and compliance requirements * Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes * Must have 5 years checkable work history For full details, please contact Willis Global – Experts in Recruiting In order to view more information on this job press the APPLY NOW button below and it will take you to the source website

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $31,648 to a maximum of $34,179. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £25,000 to a maximum of £27,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $48,159 to a maximum of $52,010.
