Finance Assistant, London SE1 Maternity Cover – 1 year fixed term contract (start May 2024) £30,000 - £35,000pa We are looking to recruit a well-organised and experienced Finance Assistant to support our busy Finance Team during a colleague’s maternity leave. About Us DRWakefield has been sourcing green coffee from most origins and supplying the roasting industry in the Northern hemisphere since 1970, focusing on and indeed pioneering fair, ethical and sustainable trade. DRW remains an independent family-owned business with a diverse and friendly team. Our head office in London also supports our office in Vilnius and warehouses in UK, Vilnius, Dublin, Antwerp and Le Havre. Key Responsibilities * Deal with processing of supplier invoices, and gaining approval for payments * To raise UK and international payments in all major currencies. * Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolving queries * Posting bank transactions onto the company accounting software. * Supporting the preparation of weekly and monthly reports Skills & Experience * Previous experience in similar finance related roles * Good systems knowledge including Access Dimensions (preferably). Also MS Excel, Word and Teams. * Experience of HSBCnet is preferable. * Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing needs * Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers, clients and bank. * Strong demonstrable skills at data entry. * Excellent overall communication and presentational skills * Motivated, hardworking and reliable team member * Experience of working within a group of companies. This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $37,977 to a maximum of $44,307. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £30,000 to a maximum of £35,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $57,790 to a maximum of $67,422.
