Job Description

Bookkeeping supervisor role within a historic accountancy practice based in Barnet, that have grown into a firm which delivers a wide range of services to clients throughout the UK, with expertise in the construction and property sectors Their ethos is to provide the highest quality service to their clients, and always deliver on their commitments. Bookkeeper Position Overview Assisting with managing the deliverables of approximately 150 bookkeeping clients Bookkeeping services for clients Preparing and submitting VAT Returns Preparing and submitting CIS Returns Processing the annual CIS suffered reclaim for all clients who are not Gross Status. Delegating work to our offshore team in India and reviewing their completed work. Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts/information with the objective of providing completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for their review and meeting with the client. Bookkeeper Position Requirements Work experience - Previous work experience in accountancy firms is required Industry experience - Previous work experience in the Construction and Property sectors would be beneficial Software experience Xero - required Sage - required QuickBooks - beneficial CCH - beneficial Qualification status - ideally AAT qualified, but not a necessity CIS experience - required Payroll experience - beneficial Management Accounts/Information - beneficial Bookkeeper Position Remuneration Salary expectations - circa £35k to £45k per annum, but this is negotiable depending on the quality of the candidate Discretionary bonus Annual leave - 30 days including bank holidays and 2 duvet days Private Healthcare - provided by the company after probationary period has been successfully completed Pension - employees pay a minimum of 5% and the company will pay 3% Annual company trip - overnight stay at a European city. The company will pay for flights, hotels, meals, etc. Reporting to the Head of the Business Services team and the Partners Hours - 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch) with flexitime Probationary Period - 3 months from commencement date Location of role - office based with flexibility to work from home regularly. Salary by Currency

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $44,307 to a maximum of $56,966. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £35,000 to a maximum of £45,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $67,422 to a maximum of $86,685.
