Job Description

Marc Daniels are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing start-up that is gearing up to truly disrupt the biomedical scene having already received awards and industry recognition. They are for looking for a Finance Manager to take charge of their finances and help them optimise their processes as they prepare to take the leap to the next stage of growth. This is great opportunity to get in with a company at the right time offering very lucrative share options. If you have experience of managing the whole finance function for a SME that is VERY desirable. Role features hybrid working, private medical, flexible hours and a host of other benefits! Responsibilities: Maintain revenue and expense trackers to ensure accurate monthly recognition Prepare and process monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries Prepare monthly financial and cash forecasts, and annual budgets Produce monthly reporting pack for Management Team and Board Manage the preparation of Year-End Accounts & Taxation Process and pay supplier invoices and staff expenses Ensure that the company's filing and payment deadlines are adhered to, including liaising with HMRC. Provide financial modelling support to management and other departments Support internal controls management Process monthly payroll (supported by external bureau) Monthly reconciliation of ledger accounts Develop dashboards and KPIs aligned with the business objectives Guide the internal cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures Opportunity to work on exciting R&D projects as Finance Support Support the Finance Director, including business planning, fundraising and investor management Other ad-hoc dutiesRequirements: Good technical accounting knowledge High attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical ability Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment Ability to work independently Proficiency with MS Office, specifically ExcelBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited. This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $63,295 to a maximum of $75,954. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £50,000 to a maximum of £60,000. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $96,316 to a maximum of $115,579.
