Job Description

We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for an ACTUARIAL EXPERT to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the Insurance domain. We are seeking a talented Actuarial professional with Python expertise to join our team for a new strategic program of work. As an Actuarial, you will play a pivotal role in redesigning and enhancing the calculations and analysis of our platform to meet the evolving needs of our users. Role: Actuarial Expert with Python Knowledge Rate: Up to £600 per day (inside IR35) Location: Central London – Hybrid Duration: 6 months (initially – view to extend) Sector: Insurance Responsibilities: * Actuarial professional with experience in Annuities products. * Pricing experience is a plus. * Understanding of basic product features, guarantees. * 6+ years of total experience in Life & Annuities market. * 2+ Actuarial exams. * Actuarial support for the development of pricing recommendations * Python experience mandatory. * Insurance domain experience would be good additional benefit. Knowledge of Python: * Data types * List Comprehensions * Data manipulation and error handling and various libraries such as: * Pandas * Run Parallel calculations in Python such as concurrent or others * Dask/Flask etc to create dashboards * Matpoltlib * Work with excel using Xlwings or any other * Datetime * Numpy * Automate excel calcs in Python * Optimise existing code * Perform Data analytics, Data Visualization If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply promptly and we will contact you to discuss it further. Salary by Currency

This role in US Dollars has a minimum of $506 to a maximum of $760. In British Pounds it has a minimum of £400 to a maximum of £600. In Australian Dollars it has a minimum of $770 to a maximum of $1,156.
