Main Purpose of Job: Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring smooth financial operations for a London-based charity. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Resources, the role requires expertise in managing a team for day-to-day financial operations. Critical appraisal of accounting policies, process improvements, and timely, accurate financial reporting are key aspects of the role.
Principal Responsibilities:
STRATEGY AND PLANNING:
Develop and maintain effective financial strategies in collaboration with the Director of Finance.
Contribute to key decisions and report on annual objectives for the Finance Team.
FINANCIAL CONTROL AND REPORTING:
Ensure accurate financial records and robust controls for statutory compliance.
Support quarterly financial reports to the Board.
