Working as part of a small finance team based on the outskirts of Leeds (10 minute drive from Leeds Centre) you will take responsibility for the management and full maintenance of the Purchase Ledger function along with other areas of finance as and when needed.
The main duties of the role are to include:
* Manage purchase ledger activities, including checking and posting invoices, reconciling accounts, dealing with invoice queries, liaising with suppliers and preparing payment runs.
* Preparing carnets on job management software and inputting to Chamber of Commerce website for authentication.
* Liaise with Accountant on reconciliation of jobs in job management software.
* Staff expenses, acting as finance filter for staff expenses submitted and posting into finance system.
* Posting customer receipts, nominal bank payments and receipts.
* Providing transactional cover for Accountant when away from office.
* Any other ad-hoc tasks as requested.
