Responsibilities:
* Prepare VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly, VIES, Intrastat) for a set of companies in the EMEA region.
* File VAT returns, ensure payment, or track refunds.
* Manage correspondence with tax authorities and external auditors.
* Perform month-end closing and draft VAT reconciliation papers.
* Actively identify, manage, and mitigate potential VAT risks.
* Maintain internal compliance processes up to date.
* Expand knowledge of VAT determination logic in Oracle.
